About Me
I'm Selen (Selo for friends)
I design products that turn complicated things into something people actually want to use. I started in digital marketing, then moved into product and design, eventually co-founding ventures that reached 5 million users and raised over $1M.
My work spans enterprise tools (KPMG), civic tech (Referandom), AI products (Remi), and SaaS (Go Sponsorly). I've designed for tax analysts, event organizers, and everyday citizens trying to make sense of legislation. Different users, same goal: make it simple, make it useful.
I studied Political Science and Economics at University of Toronto, with research on digital communities now under review at Cambridge. I turned down a PhD to keep building instead.
